The Radical Domestic: Revolutionizing Craft
Part free-school lectures on radical textiles, part sewing skill-share, part collective embroidery practice
Three sessions in July and August 2025.
The goal was to share ideas and artists relevant to radicality and protest, new ways of being in the world, and transmitting messages through fabric, and also to make a radical textile together and talk through the possibilities of crafts, code, and building new lexicons of support and resistance. This program centered feminism, activism, sharing knowledge and imagining new worlds.
I plan to expand on the lectures and turn them into a more comprehensive curriculum online. In the meantime, the lectures can be viewed ︎ here.
