Paulina Berczynski is an interdisciplinary artist and designer working in print-making, textiles, and relational art forms. She came into her current practice after years as an art director and a decade as design and strategy lead for her sustainable lifestyle brand FluffyCo. She hails from Lodz Poland, the former mass-produced textile center for the USSR.
Paulina works to cultivate empowerment and collectivity through all of her projects. In the studio, she seeks to provide a critical perspective on socially-normative and capitalist structures.
Paulina operates and designs for her concept store Wavy Matter and collaborates with Amanda Walters on Feral Fabric, a radical textile project and journal. She is based in Berkeley, California.
